FAQs
What does ADIre mean?
ADIre was coined from the yoruba method of tie dyeing, ADIRE. Clothes that have been tied, folded and dyed by generation of makers who turned patience into pattern.
We borrowed the spirit, not the process.
Is it real tie dye?
We are a graphic apparel brand, so our tools are modern: Printing, embroidery, woven labels, packaging bags, etcetera.
The patterns are made to look like dipped cloth, rounded and consistent.
What are your products like?
Our pieces are built around the adire idea: bold graphics, patterns that carry the ripple of dyed cloth, and clothes that are easy and comfortable to be in.
